For this Wordless Wednesday I've decided to share one of the blooms in my garden. The flowers haven't yet emerged from this unidentified Billbergia, but I think that makes the inflorescence all the more beautiful. This is one of the mottled gray hybrids that can be found in old homesites of Clay county, long after the houses themselves have crumbled. By the way, epiphyte day is coming up on the first, so don't forget to share your posts! Maybe I need a Linky thingee too...
Lovely...simply lovely~
ReplyDeleteThis is SO pretty! Keep those tropicals coming! I'm living vicariously through yours!
ReplyDeleteMy Bilbergias are all blooming fully and some are even finished. I keep saying I need to put some in the trees and haven't gotten around to it yet. Very pretty photos, Steve.

Hi Steve,
ReplyDeleteOk, I've posted a silver bromeliad for Epiphyte Day. It's one of my favorites called Aechmea 'Little Naru'. I think it was developed locally.
